Hans Christian Anderson’s The Little Mermaid
In 2013, Megan Richards delighted ZACH Theater patrons with her one woman storytelling of Hans Christian Anderson’s, “The Little Mermaid”. Told from the perspective of a child playing alone in her room, this classic fable is brought to life through projections, props, and the magic of imagination. In collaboration with the projectionist, I designed and built the costume, which doubled as set, as well the props, which included a collapsable sand castle and a larger than life seashell that opens to reveal an underwater world.
